Our Story

Our story as a bona fide business began in 2009.  I had been happily making wooden knives and other things as a sideline until May 13, 2009.  I was called into my boss' office and was told that I was officially "Laid Off".  My immediate feeling was exuberance as I would not have to endure anymore trips into his office.  However, the next feeling was "Now what?"  I hit the streets and phones trying to find store owners interested in carrying JJ's Knife Kit.  I found enough success to encourage me to continue.  It has not been easy.  I have never worked harder than I do now, but it has been worth it.  Our goal is to continue to make the best wooden knives and toys available anywhere.  And to continue to make them right here in the U.S.A.  In order to be successful reaching our goal we know we have to be the best in quality, customer satisfaction and value.
