THE ORIGINATOR OF THE WOODEN KNIFE KIT!
Old Timers have been making wooden knives for generations. I have seen some very well-crafted wooden pocket knifes. However, until 2008, the wooden knife kit did not exist. That is when I made the first one for my son, JJ. I recognized the appeal of, not only having a wooden pocket knife, but also being able to craft it. That's when I brought the kit to market and approached a few store owners.
The old saying goes, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". Others have recognized the appeal of JJ's Knife Kit and wanted to make their own imitations. They took their JJ's Knife Kit-inspired knives to Asia to have them made. Jameson Woodworks makes every one of our products in Belton, South Carolina.
